Job summary

Intuitive Surgical, Inc. seeks a Managing Principal, Project Management (Finance) to lead Clinical Affairs project management activities across R&D, Regulatory Affairs and Quality.

Develop robust project plans, manage risks and budgets, and provide portfolio visibility to executive leadership to ensure milestones are met on time and within scope. Ideal candidates have deep experience in the medical device development lifecycle, regulators and governance, and PMP-aligned leadership.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the medical device industry or a highly regulated environment.
  • Minimum 4 years of leadership and team management experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience focused on clinical project management, including clinical studies and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project planning and initiation of Clinical Affairs activities across clinical studies and regulatory deliverables.
  • Develop integrated project plans defining scope, timelines, dependencies, resourcing, and deliverables.
  • Provide strategic oversight for coordination within Clinical Affairs subfunctions to ensure timely execution of study and submission deliverables.
  • Drives alignment between Clinical Affairs programs and broader product development lifecycle.
