Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a unified editorial strategy centered on community and audience growth across platforms.
• Oversee Audience, Engaged Journalism, and Platforms teams with cross-department collaboration.
• Lead editorial strategy across newsletters, social media, community initiatives, and emerging platforms.
• Use audience insights and analytics to inform priorities and planning.
• Establish workflows and standards for audience-first publishing and cross-team collaboration.
• Partner with newsroom leadership to shape platform coverage of breaking news and enterprise reporting.
• Lead platform innovation and invest in new storytelling formats.
• Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team.
• Identify operational efficiencies to support long-term sustainability.
