Keystone Clearwater Solutions, LLC. is hiring a Managing Director of Water Transfer Field Operations to lead water transfer activities in a designated region. You will oversee field teams, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance while driving safety and performance standards.

The role reports to the VP of Operations and involves frequent travel to job sites across the region, with a focus on customer relationships and strategic planning to support financial goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in oil and gas with water transfer or construction experience.
• Knowledge of pumping systems, piping, filtration, hydraulics.
• Experience leading large field teams and managing operations.
• Strong customer service and business development mindset.
• Budgets, labor, and material allocation oversight.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
• OSHA 40 HAZWOPER and Safeland certs (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Oversee Operations Managers, Field Supervisors, and Technicians across field functions.
• Lead water transfer setup, execution, and demobilization.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety protocols, environmental regs.
• Monitor budgets and regional P&L performance.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships for repeat business.
• Collaborate with Sales, HSE, and HR on recruitment, training, safety, and performance.
• Ensure training and readiness for all job sites.
• Evaluate efficiencies and deploy automation when possible.
• Maintain field documentation, job costs, and invoicing accuracy.
• Participate in annual strategic planning and new market initiatives.

Description

We are hiring a Managing Director of Water Transfer Field Operations to lead all water transfer activities within a designated region or key operator account. This high-impact leadership role includes managing day-to-day operations, overseeing personnel, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving safety and performance standards. The Managing Director will play a critical role in customer communication, project planning, and supporting the Company’s financial goals.

This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations and is expected to travel frequently to job sites across the region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Operations Managers, Field Supervisors, and Technicians across all field functions
• Lead water transfer setup, execution, and demobilization efforts
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety protocols, and environmental regulations
• Monitor budgets, labor, and material costs; report on regional P&L performance
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and account growth
• Collaborate with Sales, HSE, and HR to support recruitment, training, safety, and performance management
• Ensure consistent employee training and operational readiness for all customer job sites
• Evaluate operational efficiencies, deploy automation and instrumentation solutions where possible
• Maintain accurate field documentation, job cost tracking, and invoicing accuracy
• Participate in annual strategic planning and support new market initiatives

Requirements

Required:

• 5+ years of oil and gas industry experience, with a strong background in water transfer or construction
• Knowledge of pumping systems, pipe layouts, filtration technology, and hydraulic system design
• Experience managing large field teams and project operations
• Strong customer service and business development mindset
• Financial oversight of project budgets, labor, and material allocation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
• OSHA 40 HAZWOPER and current Safeland certification (or ability to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and lead by example in the field

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.S. in Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Experience in managing P&L performance and regional business operations
• Background working with shale gas operators and managing large-scale projects
• Working knowledge of water automation and telemetry systems
• Mechanical or civil engineering knowledge preferred
