Job summary

Guidehouse Life Sciences practice is seeking a strategy consultant to help pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device clients navigate product planning, pricing, reimbursement, and regulatory challenges. You will collaborate with clients across levels to deliver impactful solutions.

The role requires a BA/BS in a related field, 4+ years of relevant experience, strong pharma knowledge, project management and mentoring skills, and willingness to travel up to 20% across the US.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Business or related field.
• 4+ years of consulting experience with pharma/biotech clients.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including drug development and launch.
• Ability to analyze complex information, identify key issues, and develop effective strategies.
• Excellent communication skills to convey strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Subject matter expertise in Oncology, Data Analytics, Global Market Access or Commercial Strategy.
• 2+ years experience managing project teams (workplans, staffing, deadlines, scope and budget).
• Willing to travel to client sites across the US, up to 20%.

++What You Will Need:++

• BA/BS degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Business or related course of study.
• Minimum 4 years of prior relevant work or consulting experience working with large global pharma, mid-sized pharma and/or biotech clients.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including drug development and launch.
• The ability to analyze complex information, identify key issues, and develop effective strategies.
• Excellent communication skills to convey strategic recommendations to various stakeholders, including senior management.
• Must have subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas as it pertains to life sciences: Oncology, Data Analytics, Global Market Access and/or Commercial Strategy.
• 2 plus years experience managing the activities of a project team including workplan, staffing, deadlines scope and budget.
• Demonstrated success supervising, coaching and mentoring more junior level staff and ownership and guidance of their career development.
• Must be willing and able to travel to client sites across the US, up to 20% of the time.
• Authorized to work for any US employer without sponsorship.

• Advanced degree preferred - PhD, PharmD, MBA, MS.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be collaborative and a team player.
• Must have exceptional client management experience including expanding client relationships within an organization and ability to recognize and communicate add-on and/or cross business opportunities at external clients

The annual salary range for this position is $102,000.00-$170,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
