  • Design data-driven analyses that support value-based care, pay-for-performance, and other clinical quality programs.
  • Develop reproducible data pipelines, analytic code, dashboards, reports, and visualizations using the required programming languages and technology platforms.
  • Translate complex findings into clear client insights, practical recommendations, and executive-level presentations.
  • Apply appropriate analytical methods and research healthcare quality measures, program specifications, and industry guidance when established approaches are unavailable.
  • Manage client relationships at the representative level and tailor communications to the role and technical knowledge of each audience.
  • Audit source data, analytic methods, and deliverables to identify inconsistencies, quality issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify next steps and practical workarounds, manage assigned tasks independently, and meet client deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Mentor junior team members in analytic methods, healthcare data, clinical quality concepts, and quality-control practices.
Qualifications:
  • At least five years of experience in healthcare data and analytics, consulting, or a related healthcare industry role is required; experience at the manager level is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree, master's degree, or equivalent experience in analytics, computer science, economics, finance, accounting, statistics, econometrics, public health, engineering, or another practice-related field is required.
  • Experience analyzing claims data, including Medicare Provider Analysis and Review (MedPAR), Limited Data Set (LDS), Virtual Research Data Center (VRDC), Merative, Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP), all-payer claims, or Medicare-Medicaid claims, is required.
