Ramboll US Corporation is seeking a Managing Consultant in Air and Climate to lead complex air quality projects across the U.S. You will support clients with air permitting, compliance, and technical challenges, overseeing a team and maintaining client relationships.
The ideal candidate will have over 9 years of air quality consulting experience and a strong educational background in relevant fields, along with a proven track record in project management and mentorship.

As our new Managing Consultant in Air and Climate, you will be part of Ramboll's Environment & Health Division. This group includes professionals passionate about air quality and environmental compliance, supporting clients in addressing complex regulatory and technical challenges. The team provides services across a range of areas, including air permitting, emissions estimation, regulatory compliance, control technology assessments, air dispersion modeling, and preparation of air quality and compliance reports.
As part of the team, you will join an exceptional air and climate group focused on solving complex client challenges and developing sustainable solutions. You will collaborate with professionals across the United States, across all levels of experience (from early‑career staff to senior subject matter experts), in a collaborative, mentorship‑driven environment that supports continuous learning and professional growth.
At Ramboll, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices that support our people and our purpose of creating sustainable societies. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $115,500 - $150,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. Because we operate across multiple U.S. markets, pay may differ depending on the cost of labor in specific locations. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for bonus, overtime or other forms of compensation and we offer a comprehensive benefits package that supports well‑being, professional development, and work‑life balance.
