Job summary

LEARN Behavioral in Worcester, Massachusetts, is seeking a Managing Behavior Analyst to lead the delivery of behavior treatment services. This role involves overseeing clinical staff, ensuring high-quality services are provided to clients and their families, as well as promoting the development of program managers and technicians.

Ideal candidates will have Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification or MA Licensure, and be skilled in problem-solving and communication. The position offers competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

  • Experience with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.

Job description

Managing Behavior Analyst

LEARN is seeking a Managing Behavior Analyst to oversee the delivery of behavior treatment services with the support of Managing Technicians, Assistant Behavior Analysts, and/or other Behavior Analysts. Managing Behavior Analysts are driven to provide clinically excellent services to their clients and their families, while promoting the clinical and professional development of the program managers and technicians assigned to their teams.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical direction to program managers and technicians for assigned clients
  • Deliver protocol modification, assessment and family treatment guidance for assigned clients
  • Ensure data is collected and recorded with fidelity and reliability
  • Complete mandatory trainings and attend required meetings
  • Provide clinical and professional feedback to staff
  • Document services delivered accurately and timely according to company policies
  • Collaborate with Clinical Director regarding assignment of BAs to BT teams
  • Report clinical and scheduling concerns promptly
  • Adhere to all company compliance policies, written or unwritten
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Provide appropriate physical management as needed to ensure client safety, when trained and required
  • Exert control of clients within the guidelines of ABA, when necessary
Qualifications, Certifications, and Physical Requirements
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification / MA Licensure, Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Own reliable transportation
  • Expected to travel up to one hour from the regional office to provide services to clients
  • Works independently and in a team environment with colleagues and supervisors
  • Communicates well in both verbal and written forms
  • Collaborates well with others
  • Helps resolve conflicts when they arise and conducts oneself in a professional manner
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills
  • Experience with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities
  • Required to push, pull and lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Must be able to walk, stand and sit for long periods of time
  • Must have the ability to react quickly to the motion of clients and objects
  • Required at times to reach up, stoop, kneel, balance, crouch or crawl
