Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager, Warehouse Operations (Outbound) to oversee outbound processing, picking, staging, and loading of shipments. You will manage a supervisory team, ensure SOP compliance, and respond to disruptions to sustain on-time customer commitments.
You will lead 60-90 hourly and salaried teammates, collaborate with Sales and Customer Service, and drive safety and efficiency across the operation in a dynamic distribution environment.

This is a 2nd Shift opportunity Monday - Friday 2:00pm to Completion (Flexible based on Business Needs). Responsibility of Weekend Shifts. Weekend On-Call availability required on a rotating basis.
What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
The Manager, Warehouse Operations (Outbound) oversees the building’s outbound processing, including but not limited to releasing, picking, staging and loading of shipments. Through successful operational and people management, this job delivers on the business unit’s short-term goals, improves profitability, and develops the business unit’s warehouse talent. This job also responds to urgent customer needs or supply disruptions to ensure customer commitments are fulfilled.
