Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse operations supporting GMP-regulated pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, testing, and shipping activities. This role ensures compliant receipt, storage, inventory management, and movement of materials while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, inventory accuracy, and regulatory compliance. The Warehouse Manager partners closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Project Management teams to support a fast-paced, client-focused CDMO environment and drive operational excellence.

On-Site Expectations
  • 100% on-site position.
  • 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Responsibilities
  • Lead warehouse operations supporting GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing, testing, and distribution activities.
  • Ensure compliant receipt, storage, inventory control, and issuance of raw materials, API, excipients, consumables, and finished goods in accordance with cGMP requirements.
  • Oversee material movements and inventory transactions within ERP/SAP systems, ensuring inventory accuracy and traceability.
  • Manage controlled temperature storage environments including ambient, refrigerated, frozen, and quarantine inventory as applicable.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Project Management teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability and production support.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, material flow, and client service delivery.
  • Support internal audits, client audits, FDA inspections, and regulatory inquiries related to warehouse operations.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP documentation practices, deviation investigations, CAPAs, change controls, and inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Monitor warehouse KPIs including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, cycle count performance, dock-to-stock metrics, and on-time material availability.
  • Creates and manages department schedule based on business needs.
  • Oversees workflow and productivity of staff.
  • Attracts, develops, and retains a high performing team to meet the current and evolving needs of the business through effective selection, training and development, coaching and mentoring and performance management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive warehouse, logistics, or supply chain experience within pharmaceutical, CDMO, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Minimum 2+ years of people leadership experience managing warehouse or supply chain teams.
  • Experience supporting GMP-regulated operations and maintaining compliance with FDA regulations and applicable industry standards.
  • Experience managing ERP system, such as SAP.
  • Experience supporting client audits, regulatory inspections, and quality management systems preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong technical skills for area managing.

  • Strong understanding of company SOPs, and regulatory guidance documents.
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures and quality compliance for assigned area.

  • Knowledge of material status control, quarantine processes, lot traceability, and inventory reconciliation.Experience with cycle counting, inventory controls, and warehouse performance metrics.
  • Understanding of hazardous materials handling, cold-chain logistics, and temperature-controlled storage requirements.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities in a dynamic, client-driven environment while maintaining compliance and accuracy of inventory.
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills supporting Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Project Management organizations.
Travel Expectations
  • Up to 10% travel expected.

Such personal protective equipment may include but is not limited to safety eyewear, various types of respirators/breathing apparatus, lab coats, gloves, etc.
