Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage daily processing of all Purchase Orders and Stock Purchase Orders to ensure flow through Admin and Back Office systems.
  • Ensure product is warehoused and disbursed to the picking line within the prescribed time frame.
  • Ensure daily warehouse order processing is completed and Pick Tickets/Products are shipped from the warehouse.
  • Manage receiving, inventory control & returns department and monitor Direct and True Bins for accurate inventory.
  • Assist with expediting customer service orders and monitor orders and inventory for completion.
  • Input data, provide training, supervise staff, oversee workflow and resolve problems.
  • Assist Customer Service Manager(s) in resolving shipment or returns issues.
  • Enforce proper use and maintenance of Instawarehouse equipment.
  • Ensure proper delivery and pickup of inventory using appropriate shipping sources.
  • Ensure Instawarehouse is properly staffed during business hours.
  • Maintain clean, neat floor areas, offices, docks and surrounding areas.

JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Manager oversees the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods; ensures workplace health and safety requirements are met; takes responsibility for the security of the building and stock; plans the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organizes special requirements for certain stock, such as damaged and oversized products; ensures productivity targets are met and maintain computerized administration and automated storage and retrieval systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitor and manage the daily processing of all Purchase Orders and Stock Purchase Orders to ensure they flow through the Admin and Back Office Macola systems correctly to Order Close
  • Ensure product is warehoused and disbursed to the picking line within the prescribed time frame, and systematically processing all Instawarehouse Purchase Orders to completion
  • Ensures daily warehouse order processing is successfully executed and Pick Tickets/Products are shipped out from our warehouse
  • Management of the receiving, inventory control & the returns department including the monitoring of the Direct and True Bins to properly issue out for accurate inventory and processing orders to close
  • Assist with expediting customer service orders and monitoring orders and inventory for order completion
  • Input data, provide training, supervise staff, oversee workflow & resolve problems
  • Assist Customer Service Manager(s) in resolving any shipment or returns issues
  • Enforce proper use and maintenance of any Instawarehouse equipment – motorized or other
  • Ensure proper delivery and pickup of inventory using appropriate shipping sources
  • Ensure that the Instawarehouse is properly staffed at all times during normal business hours or other hours as may be deemed necessary by management
  • Ensure that all Instawarehouse floor areas, offices, front walkways, dock and dumpster areas are clean, neat and free of any debris
  • Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met
  • Train staff and monitoring their performance and progress
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education

High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management

Experience:
  • 2 to 5 years of Supply Chain/Warehouse and Management experience
  • Proficiency with various Warehouse Management platforms and Inventory systems
  • Computer applications using MS office specifically excel, word, and PowerPoint
  • Possess or ability to pass forklift certification
