Children's of Alabama seeks a nursing leader to manage Utilization Management on the Main Campus Lee Building. The role supervises Nurse Reviewers and collaborates with Revenue Cycle and the Business Office to optimize patient care utilization.

The position is a full-time day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, based in Birmingham, AL. Active Alabama RN licensure and solid utilization experience are required.

Formación

• RN licensed in Alabama or eligible via multi-state compact.
• 5+ years staff level nursing experience.
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

• Oversee and coordinate the Utilization Management department day-to-day functions.
• Supervise Nurse Reviewers and ensure quality reviews.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle and Business Office to optimize utilization processes.

Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications

• Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
• Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State
• Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State

Education with Equivalent Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Nursing in Nursing

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications

• 5 Years Staff Level

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Day Shift, Monday-Friday Standard Days
