First Merchants Bank is seeking a Manager, Treasury Management Solutions to lead the Treasury Solutions department and provide operational support to the Treasury line of business. You will train, coach, and guide staff while driving process improvements and performance metrics to maximize efficiency.

The role requires banking experience, people management, and a collaborative mindset to work with Operations, Compliance, Audit, and other teams.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of operations, treasury management, or retail experience in a banking environment.
• Minimum of one year of managing others.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Treasury Solutions department and staff.
• Provide operational support to the Treasury line of business.
• Update and optimize Treasury Operations processes.

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Manager, Treasury Management Solutions to join our team! This position will manage and lead the Treasury Solutions department, providing operational support to the Treasury line of business.

As part of this role you will:

• Manage the Treasury Solutions department by training, coaching, and guiding the staff along with managing Treasury Operational processes.
• Maintain and update Treasury Operations processes within the department.
• Manage day-to-day operations within the department while continually reviewing process improvement opportunities to enhance the department's efficiency.
• Develop and implement performance metrics to achieve optimal staff utilization.
• Lead and/or participate on special projects as needed including bank acquisitions.
• Create and/or manage timely and professional communication to all of the Treasury line of business staff supporting operational information and changes.
• Create and/or maintain operations procedures.
• Partner with various departments (Operations, Bank Protection, Compliance, Audit, etc.) to ensure operational soundness.
• Provide support and knowledge expertise to the Treasury Line of Business.

To be successful in this position, we require the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• A minimum of five (5) years of operations, treasury management, or retail experience in a banking environment or a related field.
• A minimum of one (1) year managing others.

The following would be a plus:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related.
• Management and training experience.
