Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months. Starting compensation is $35,360 per year ($17/hour).

The role combines sales, operations, fleet management, and finance learning in a fast-paced environment. The program cultivates leadership, accountability, and hands-on experience in a growing company with extensive opportunities across the Hertz network.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years or older and have a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong computer and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow within the company.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Support achievement of location sales goals and deliver a high customer experience.
• Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control while assisting with store operations.
• Assist with vehicle prep, lot management, and customer service as needed.
• Learn finance processes and support deal completion, including reporting and documentation.
• Shadow and support management to develop leadership skills and prepare for future roles.

We’re hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in as little as 12–18 months. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn all aspects of our business.

The starting wage for this position is $35,360.00 per year or $17.00 per hour

What You’ll Do:

• Sales & Customer Service
  • Support achievement of location sales goals
  • Deliver excellent customer experience to contribute to high customer service scores
  • Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices
• Operations & Fleet Management
  • Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control
  • Assist with store operations and compliance
• Vehicle and Facility Care
  • Support team with miscellaneous task including but not limited to cleaning and preparing vehicles for customers, lot management, and customer service assistance
