Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with up to 4 years of equivalent education/experience and training; enrolled toward degree programs.
  • Willing to work across multiple shifts including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Must be willing to travel to account, customer, and company event locations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain positive professional relationships with drivers and safe carriers for carrier setup and productivity.
  • Fill in for absent personnel and work on special projects to optimize fleet operations and profitability.
  • Train and orient drivers and staff on internal and third-party systems.
  • Maximize efficiency of fleet operations and propose continuous improvements with KPIs and reporting.
  • Manage inventory, assets, and driver assignments to Balance equipment.
  • Perform payroll, Net-Revenue budget management, driver counseling, accident reviews, invoicing, and financial reporting.
  • Manage yard operations, maintain equipment, coordinate maintenance and safety fixes.
  • Collaborate with drivers, customers, and staff to resolve service issues and plan routing.
  • Maintain safety culture with daily driver safety messages, training, and DOT compliance activities.
  • Assign loads, plan routes, monitor freight movement, manage exceptions, and adjust ETAs.
