Job summary

Hertz Local Edition is hiring a Manager Trainee in Rock Hill, SC to support location performance and leadership growth. Starting wage is $35,360 per year, with potential promotion to Branch Manager within 12–18 months.

You will engage in sales, customer service, fleet operations, and finance processes while developing leadership skills and applying CRM best practices to meet location goals. This hands-on program blends training with ongoing performance coaching.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong computer and multitasking skills

Responsibilities

• Support achievement of location sales goals

Job Description

We’re hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in as little as 12-18 months. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn all aspects of our business.

The starting wage for this position is $35,360.00 per year or $17.00 per hour

What You’ll Do

• Sales & Customer Service
  • Support achievement of location sales goals
  • Deliver excellent customer experience to contribute to high customer service scores
  • Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices
• Operations & Fleet Management
  • Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control
  • Assist with store operations and compliance
• Vehicle and Facility Care
  • Support team with miscellaneous task including but not limited to cleaning and preparing vehicles for customers, lot management, and customer service assistance

  • Understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics
