Client Growth Resources, Inc is seeking a Manager, Tax for a local CPA firm in central Ohio. The role focuses on tax for small to mid-sized businesses and individuals, with potential for partnership advancement. You will lead tax engagements, mentor staff, and partner with clients to optimize tax outcomes.

The position emphasizes work-life balance and a culture without politics, with opportunities to grow into leadership and eventual partner status within a trusted, long-standing firm.

Formación

• A passion for Tax Accounting and at least 8 years of relevant experience in public accounting.
• A degree in Accounting and active CPA status.
• Experience as a Sr. Tax Accountant, specifically in working with and supporting small businesses and high wealth individuals.
• Experience managing associates. Coaching / mentoring. Doing reviews.
• Strong understanding and experience in tax accounting for C-corps, S-corps, partnerships, LLC’s, etc.
• Familiarity with real estate / construction sector is a huge plus. A good understanding and experience with various forms of partnerships and tax implications.
• You’ll be in a client facing role much of the time, so strong interpersonal and client relationship skills are key to success. Experience working with CFO’s, Controllers, and other financial executives.
• Adept at common software like UltraTax, Quickbooks, RIA, and Excel.

MANAGER, TAX – Public Accounting

The short story:

The 2025 tax season is winding down, and you are finishing extensions and doing some tax planning with clients for 2026 filings. You’re researching the impact of tax law changes, and spending some time getting your CPE credits in.

You love working with outside clients and understanding their situation and making it better. Your team looks up to you for leadership.
