Job summary

Job description

Summary

Essential Functions
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Source and fill pipeline for difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on applicant pipeline data to track metrics; proactively identify potential opportunities, anomalies, and applicant flow irregularities.
  • Train team members and perform quality reviews on the use of the applicant tracking system, ensuring proper user permissions, template and requisition creation, and adherence to company policy and process guidelines.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the recruiting team’s use and the effectiveness of systems and sourcing tools, such as the Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) system, the Application Tracking System (ATS), and job boards.
  • Monitor the application review and screening efforts of the recruiting team, identifying bottlenecks in the hiring process and addressing or escalating to the Director of Talent Acquisition as needed.
  • Ensure candidates are moving through the application process efficiently, from initial application to background procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Talent Acquisition to troubleshoot and determine resolution for applicant processing in relation to company policy, state and federal employment laws, and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program (OFCCP).
  • Ensure consistency and fairness throughout the application process.
  • Partner with core HR team to ensure candidate pre-boarding and onboarding experience is successful.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Talent Acquisition to analyze ROI on recruitment marketing and advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor aging vacancies and report on any challenges.
  • Explore and pursue innovative sourcing solutions for critical needs or specialty areas when needed.
  • Manage the distribution of workload using appropriate metrics to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify gaps and recommend improvements in the application and talent selection process.
  • Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with hiring managers.
  • Partner with medical staff and management teams to facilitate teamwork to collaboratively accomplish organizational goals.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and make recommendations for process improvements as needed.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date strategic planning manual with continuity BUS plan and goals.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Training Expectations

Associates in this role are expected, as a condition of employment, to complete all trainings assigned within a reasonable time period, generally within less than 15 days. This role includes the following training requirements:

  • May obtain NCCHC CCHP certification.

Supervisory Responsibility

This is a supervisory position. This position does have the authority to hire, fire, discipline, discharge, assign overtime, and/or direct and assign work, with the ability to effectively recommend any of these actions. This role also serves as a coach and mentor for other employees.

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This is a hybrid, telecommute, or remote role.

Remote Work Requirements

This position is eligible for remote work, provided the candidate maintains a suitable home office environment conducive to productivity, including reliable high-speed internet that is employee purchased, a quiet workspace, and necessary equipment. The company reserves the right to assess the adequacy of the home office setup. If the home office environment is deemed unsatisfactory, the company is not obligated to remedy or provide resources to address deficiencies. Employees are welcome to transition to in-office work at our facility, where a fully equipped workspace will be provided.

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend, or stand, as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

This position occasionally requires travel.
