Information Systems Manager 1

The work is unique, challenging and rewarding. Most of all, it is work that makes a difference. The functional manager will lead a team working within the Tampa Engineering & Sciences (E&S) department. The successful candidate will lead direct report employees to accomplish organizational goals, deliver program results, and align with company policies. Specific responsibilities include coordinating programs for staffing, recruiting, training, preparing and delivering performance reviews to employees, evaluating employees for promotions, evaluating salaries and compensation, assisting employees in preparing performance goals, providing career guidance to employees and counseling employees on their performance as necessary. The manager is responsible for periodic review, update, and definition of technical process documents. The manager will be expected to provide and perform systems administrative support to the team. It is anticipated that given the size of the functional team, the split between technical and functional management duties will be on average approximately 80% technical / 20% functional. The direct program support may include technical activities such as IPT leadership and/or any other appropriate technical function.
