Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Minster, Ohio, is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead. The role offers weekly pay, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, and a full benefits package. You will oversee daily warehouse operations, coach a team, and ensure safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The position features a 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts (Sun-Wed, 4:30am-4:00pm) and requires forklift/RF scanner experience, SAP or WMS familiarity, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• 1+ year or more experience as Team Lead preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• 1+ year or more warehouse experience preferred.
• RF scanner experience required.
• Valid forklift operator's license certified.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive continuous improvement for warehouse efficiency.
• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Allocate resources and assign daily duties to team members.
• Inspire team to improve KPIs using appropriate leadership styles.
• Provide orientation and/tools support to employees.
• Promote health and safety practices in the warehouse.
• Handle daily paperwork and reports; propose action plans.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred
• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required
• Valid forklift operator\'s license certified

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) using the appropriate leadership styles and methods.
• Assist in proving appropriate orientation for employees and give them the necessary information, technology and tools to perform their jobs.
• Assist with promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Deal with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
