Commonwealth Fusion Systems is looking for a Manager for Supply Chain – HTS Magnets in Harvard, MA. HTS magnets are key elements of SPARC/ARC technology, and a vital diversification opportunity via SuperBU.
Sourcing and delivery of magnet components with sufficient quality, quickly and at low cost has critical path impacts to SPARC and major implications for ARC viability.
This Manager leads the team to deliver a broad range of parts and assemblies to CFS1 and SASY in close collaboration with engineering and production.
Success in this role requires proactive technical and operational risk management through remaining SPARC magnet design and first encounters. It also requires sustaining the team through a constant fast pace of visible critical path needs.
Furthermore, this Manager is a key contributor to future ARC and SuperBU magnet supply chains. The Manager is therefore ready to innovate supply chains and manufacturing processes, engage on magnet design (producibility) and collaborate on future sourcing strategies.
