Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Feasibility Manager within Study Feasibility to support global clinical trial operations. You will partner with study teams on design feasibility, country and site selection, protocol reviews, and patient burden assessments to inform recruitment and timelines.

In this role, you will rely on your experience in clinical study design, operations, and management, influencing without authority when needed, and collaborating across Feasibility and Business Insights teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in pure, applied, or technical sciences.

• Reviews metrics and escalates issues to Feasibility AD/Directors
• Incorporates insights from across Feasibility & Business Insights team

• Identifies and analyzes important connections within and across therapeutic areas and works with Feasibility ADs/Directors to optimize study performance at the portfolio level
• Manages with ability to lead continuous improvement projects

Job Description

As a Feasibility Manager in Study Feasibility, you will be part of AbbVie’s Clinical Development Operations (CDO) function, which is responsible for running clinical trial operations around the world.

In this role you will partner with and advise study teams on design feasibility and certain aspects of design strategy, including country and site selection, protocol review and assessment of patient burden, and related implications for patient recruitment and study timelines. This is a highly collaborative and analytical role, which will rely on your strong experience in clinical study design, operations, and management, and may require your ability to influence without authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in pure, applied, or technical sciences
• 6+ years of experience in drug development and/or clinical trial operations
• Drug development and/or scientific project leadership experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of pharma drug development processes
• Experience with complex scientific analyses and decision making
• Demonstrated leadership skills with broad scientific, strategic, and business orientations
