RTX seeks a senior structural engineering leader in Aguadilla, PR for a hybrid role. You will oversee a team of structural engineers, align plans with program milestones, and ensure robust analyses.

Manage a team of structural engineers, including resource allocation, task assignment, and performance oversight and performance planning reviews.
Develop technical plans and manpower strategies aligned with program requirements, priorities, and milestones.
Provide structural guidance for product development, improvements, engineering changes, production issues, and investigations.
Review and approve structural analyses and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with structures discipline managers to maintain alignment and support continuous improvement and AS9100/CORE initiatives.
Lead employee development through coaching, technical skill building, individual development plans, and policy adherence.
English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.
Travel is up to 10%.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
8 years of engineering experience or an Advanced Degree with 5 years of engineering experience.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
Problem solving skills using FEM for stress/deflection, vibration, and performing LCF, HCF, Fracture Mechanics or Kinematics analyses.
Experience with ANSYS, Workbench, CAD and FEA.
Experience leading teams in the successful execution of tasks to meet technical requirements.
Capability to work and lead in collaboration with teams located across all GEC.
Communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop staff.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
Focus on results and the ability to drive tasks to completion.
