Manager, Strategic Alliances

Location: Remote (U.S.)

The Role

About Midi Health:

Midi Health is transforming care for women in midlife. We're building a modern, virtual care platform delivering expert, insurance-covered care nationwide — and we're scaling quickly. As we continue to grow, we're expanding our commercial team with experienced builders eager to shape the future of healthcare while driving meaningful business impact.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Manager, Strategic Alliances to own and grow a portfolio of strategic channel partners, including health plans, benefits consultants, and other ecosystem partners. This role sits at the intersection of partnership management, business development, and commercial strategy, helping drive enterprise growth through partner‑enabled channels. To achieve and accelerate our mission, we are partnering with a Strategic Alliance ecosystem of health plans and health benefits consultants. These channel partners are essential to help us grow and scale our reach.

We are looking for a seasoned professional who will drive the activation and success of these Alliances. This person will be responsible for driving Commercial Growth by developing and executing strategies that build and close out pipeline opportunities through assigned channel partners. You will act as the primary partner manager, building best‑in‑class relationships with external and internal stakeholders and quarterbacking day‑to‑day execution to successfully manage and grow the partnership.

The ideal candidate is equal parts relationship builder, operator, and growth driver. You are comfortable managing executive‑level partnerships, creating scalable activation plans, and collaborating cross‑functionally to translate strategic opportunities into measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Ownership

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned Strategic Alliance partners, including health plans, benefits consultants, and other channel partners.

  • Develop partnership strategies, establish goals, and drive accountability for performance and growth.

  • Lead partner onboarding and ongoing relationship management to maximize engagement and impact.

Pipeline Activation & Growth

  • Own the development and activation of pipeline opportunities generated through partner channels.

  • Collaborate with internal sales teams to identify, pursue, and close strategic enterprise opportunities.

  • Create and execute targeted plans to increase partner‑sourced pipeline and revenue.

Partnership Operations & Reporting

  • Develop measurable activation plans and success metrics for each partnership.

  • Lead regular business reviews, performance reporting, and strategic planning sessions with partners.

  • Analyze partnership performance data and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build trusted relationships with key partner stakeholders, including executive leaders and decision‑makers.

  • Map internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, communication, and successful execution.

  • Act as the quarterback across multiple workstreams, ensuring momentum and accountability.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Operations, Clinical, and Member Support teams to execute partnership initiatives.

  • Influence and align stakeholders across the organization to deliver an exceptional partner experience.

  • Help shape partnership strategy while also driving day‑to‑day operational execution.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 5–8+ years of experience in healthcare partnerships, business development, channel sales, or related commercial roles.

  • Experience working with enterprise healthcare customers, health plans, TPAs, benefits consultants, or brokers.

  • Demonstrated success building and growing strategic partnerships that drive measurable business outcomes.

Growth Mindset

  • Proven ability to generate, influence, and close new business opportunities through partner channels.

  • Strong commercial acumen and a track record of driving revenue growth.

Executive Presence

  • Exceptional relationship‑building and communication skills.

  • Comfortable engaging with executive and C-suite stakeholders both internally and externally.

  • Ability to serve as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner.

Strategic & Operational Excellence

  • Able to balance strategic thinking with operational rigor.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Detail‑oriented while maintaining focus on broader business objectives.

Analytical & Data‑Driven

  • Comfortable using data to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and make recommendations.

  • Able to translate complex information into clear insights and actionable plans.

Builder Mentality

  • Thrives in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.

  • Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable operating with ambiguity.

  • Excited by the opportunity to help build and scale a function.
