Join us to drive transformation tailored to our client's challenges of today and tomorrow. Informed and validated by science and data. Superpowered by creativity and design. All underpinned by technology created with purpose.

About The Job You’re Considering

As AI reshapes how organizations operate, compete, and create value, we are evolving our consulting model to be AI‑enabled by design, augmenting human judgment with analytics, automation, and generative AI. Our teams are looking for consultants who are not only strong problem solvers, but who are excited to work differently in an AI‑first world: curious, adaptable, and ready to help clients reimagine how work gets done.

Within Capgemini Invent’s Life Sciences industry team, we help pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and healthcare organizations respond to changing market demands, improve operational performance, and deliver better outcomes across the value chain. We bring together deep industry knowledge, functional expertise, data, digital technologies, advanced analytics, automation, AI, and GenAI to help clients build more connected, intelligent, compliant, and resilient.

Your Role

As a Manager / Senior Manager, Smart Factory & Supply Chain within our Life Sciences industry team, you will advise senior client stakeholders and lead complex operational transformation programs across manufacturing, supply chain, laboratory operations, and quality. You will shape future‑state operating models, transformation roadmaps, and AI‑enabled solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, agility, decision‑making, and business performance.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to Life Sciences leadership teams while overseeing engagement delivery, strengthening executive client relationships, developing consulting talent, and driving business and account growth.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Lead large‑scale transformation programs across Life Sciences manufacturing, supply chain, laboratory, and quality environments, delivering measurable business outcomes and sustainable value.
  • Advise senior client stakeholders on Smart Factory, digital manufacturing, supply chain, laboratory, and quality transformation strategies, leveraging data, automation, advanced analytics, AI, GenAI, digital twins, and connected operations.
  • Design future‑state operating models, process improvements, technology‑enabled transformation roadmaps, business cases, and value realization frameworks aligned with clients’ strategic and operational objectives.
  • Manage end‑to‑end engagement delivery, including scope, budget, staffing, risk management, executive communications, client satisfaction, and the leadership of multidisciplinary consulting teams.
  • Drive business development through opportunity identification, solution shaping, proposals, RFP responses, executive presentations, account expansion, and collaboration across Capgemini’s Data and AI, Digital Engineering, Cloud, and Enterprise Transformation capabilities.
  • Build and strengthen executive‑level client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts and create new revenue streams.
  • Champion AI and GenAI‑enabled innovation across manufacturing, supply chain, laboratory, and quality operations to improve productivity, decision intelligence, compliance, and workforce effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development of Life Sciences market offerings, thought leadership, accelerators, and differentiated solutions across Smart Factory, Supply Chain, Labs, Manufacturing, and Quality.
  • Lead, coach, and develop high‑performing consulting teams while supporting recruiting, mentorship, capability development, and knowledge sharing across the Life Sciences industry team.
Your Skills + Experience

You bring strong AI literacy, including core AI and generative AI concepts, and understand how these capabilities apply to enterprise transformation. You are able to identify and support AI‑enabled opportunities that improve business outcomes and delivery effectiveness, and you have experience working in AI‑augmented ways of working to enhance research, analysis, and solution development.

You collaborate effectively across strategy, technology, data, and design to enable AI‑driven solutions, with a solid understanding of responsible AI principles such as ethics, privacy, security, and governance. You demonstrate curiosity and a continuous learning mindset around emerging AI capabilities and their practical application in client environments.

Required Experience
  • 10+ years of experience leading large‑scale manufacturing, supply chain, laboratory, quality, or operational transformation programs within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare organizations.
  • At least 6 years of consulting experience, including significant experience advising and delivering transformation programs for Life Sciences clients.
  • Deep expertise in at least two of the following areas: Smart Manufacturing, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain Transformation, Lab Informatics, Lab Operations, Operational Excellence, Digital Operations, Quality Transformation, or Enterprise Transformation.
  • Experience developing future‑state operating models, business cases, value realization frameworks, process improvements, and technology‑enabled transformation roadmaps.
  • Experience with relevant platforms and technologies such as MES, including Werum PAS‑X, Syncade, Opcenter, or Apriso; LIMS; ELN; laboratory informatics platforms; QMS platforms, including TrackWise or Veeva Quality; PLM; SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing and Supply Chain; digital twins; connected operations; advanced analytics; and AI/GenAI‑enabled transformation.
  • Demonstrated success advising executive stakeholders, leading multi‑workstream consulting engagements, managing high‑performing teams, and delivering complex transformation programs.
  • Proven experience contributing to business development, proposal creation, solution shaping, executive presentations, and account growth.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
