Affirm’s next frontier is the Card team. The Card team is building the first‑of‑its‑kind platform to enable consumers to access affirm pay‑over‑time at any merchant that accepts debit or credit cards. Consumers can spend with confidence at any merchant, in‑store or online, and know they will be supported by the hallmark trust, transparency, and ‘no gotchas’ that define the product. The team is highly technical and collaborative, obsessed with delivering the right outcomes to customers, and works on launching new product features, analyzing credit card transaction data, and improving the robustness of the financial platform.
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead strategic initiatives within the card platform. The team will build backend solutions that enable new card constructs and strategic partnerships, bringing the product to more customers and industries.
Pay Grade: P Equity Grade: 13
Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents).
USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $225,000 - $275,000
USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $200,000 - $250,000
Affirm is proud to be a remote‑first company. Roles are remote and you can work almost anywhere within the country of employment. Some roles may occasionally require working out of an assigned office.
