Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Manager of Site Financial Operations for Residential Care and Affiliates to join our Finance Department. You will lead financial operations including budgets, monthly performance, revenue cycle, and project financial planning across campuses and affiliates.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of management and 7+ years in healthcare finance, plus strong Excel and PeopleSoft expertise. MBA/CPA are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of management experience and 7+ years in finance, planning, or healthcare-related activities.
• Minimum of 7 years in accounting/financial analysis.
• Working knowledge of PeopleSoft General Ledger System.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and contribute hands-on.
• Ability to build effective relationships with senior management and staff.

The Manager of Site Financial Operations for Residential Care and Affiliates is a network position within the Finance Department of Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH). Reports to the Residential Care and Affiliates Controller and assists in providing support to the Ventures, Residential Care and Affiliates Division executive leadership team relative to financial operations including but not limited to, budgets, monitoring monthly financial performance, revenue cycle, conversion and financial planning for campus/division projects, etc.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• A minimum of 5+ years of management experience and/or 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, planning, or directly related activities in the healthcare industry.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.
• Working knowledge of all aspects of PeopleSoft General Ledger System.
• Must be highly computer literate, including advanced use of Excel.
• Must be willing to roll up sleeves.
• Must be able to establish effective working relationships with Senior Management and Staff at all levels of the organization.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Master's in Business Administration (MBA) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Public accounting experience.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

• MBA or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
