Job summary

OP RaaS seeks a Security Architect/Engineer to lead a team focused on building and maintaining a secure infrastructure across cloud, network, and on‑prem environments. You will drive security blueprints, establish standards, and perform risk analyses to protect critical assets.

The role requires shaping architectures, guiding engineers, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory demands. Travel may be required for collaboration and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security or related field or equivalent work experience plus five (5) years of experience in information technology, cyber security, security architecture, or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Security Architecture/Engineering staff with strategic vision and technical depth in cloud and network security.
• Develop and maintain security architectures, roadmaps, and frameworks to meet business needs and improve cyber maturity.
• Oversee architecture and engineering of networks, cloud, and on-prem systems for scalability and reliability.
• Conduct security assessments and risk analyses aligned with standards like NIST, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
• Partner with IT and business units to ensure secure technology solutions address risk requirements.
• Provide architecture analysis of cyber security features and relate current systems to future needs.
• Comply with laws/regulations and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of an organization's security infrastructure, focusing on creating a secure posture by developing security blueprints, establishing standards, conducting risk analyses, and collaborating across teams to build and protect against threats.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage, lead and develop a professional Security Architecture/Engineering staff defining strategic vision, technical depth in areas like cloud and network security, and leadership to guide engineering teams.
2. Develop and maintain security architectures, roadmaps, and frameworks to meet business needs and improve cyber maturity.
3. Oversee the architecture and engineering of networks, cloud, and on-premises systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
4. Conduct security assessments, risk analyses, and ensure alignment with compliance frameworks like Standards and Technology (NIST), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
5. Partner with IT, business units, and other teams to ensure technology solutions are secure and address risk requirements.
6. Provide architecture analysis of cyber security features and relate existing system to future needs and trends.
7. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security or related field or equivalent work experience plus five (5) years of experience in information technology, cyber security, security architecture, or engineering.
• Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Strong analytical training data and metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong planning, organizing, and managing training.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity framework, risk management, cloud security, network security, data security, and relevant technologies.
