Job summary

Core Spaces, LLC is seeking an SEC Reporting Manager to lead the preparation and filing of Form 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K for a non-traded REIT. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, maintain disclosure controls, and drive close-to-report processes within the SOX framework.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CPA preferred.
  • 6–9 years of progressive experience in public accounting or SEC reporting.
  • Strong US GAAP knowledge and SEC disclosure understanding.
  • Experience coordinating external audits and with Big 4 firms preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and filing of Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K and related SEC submissions.
  • Coordinate internal controls and quarterly close-to-filing workflow.
  • Draft MD&A in collaboration with senior leadership and accounting teams.
  • Oversee XBRL tagging and ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and advisors as needed.

You will be responsible for leading the preparation of SEC filings for a non-traded REIT, ensuring accurate and complete disclosures in accordance with US GAAP and SEC requirements, maintaining and enhancing disclosure controls and processes in compliance with Core’s SOX framework and driving close-to-report transformation initiatives to support operational efficiency and business growth. This role will serve as the operational lead across disclosure presentation, cross-functional coordination and audit coordination. In addition to supporting the non-traded REIT, the SEC Reporting Manager will also provide technical accounting memos and conclusions to our non-SEC entities through research and an alysis.
