As we continue our rapid growth as a retailer technology company, we are expanding our Local Independent Grocery (LIG) team within the commercial organization. This SDR Manager will lead a team of Activation SDRs in identifying, contacting, and qualifying independent retailers as potential partners for Instacart. The role involves coaching the team on sales best practices, prospecting, pipeline management, and understanding Instacart’s role as a grocery technology enabler. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has sales leadership experience in technology, SaaS, CPG, or eCommerce.
The LIG Activation Sales Development Representative (aSDR) team is dedicated to prospecting and developing new local and independent grocery retail partners. They introduce grocers to Instacart's technology solutions to help them expand reach, improve customer experiences, and increase sales.
