Job Title: Manager (RN) Bone Marrow Transplant - Oncology

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Manager for our Bone Marrow Transplant department in Oncology. As the Nurse Manager, you will oversee all department functions supporting the hospital's Mission, Vision, and facility goals. This includes identifying cost-effective systems to support the department's business, establishing effective working relationships with various stakeholders, and ensuring continuous customer satisfaction.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required
• Master's degree in nursing or related field preferred

Experience

• Five (5) years of management experience, preferably in a hospital setting
• Experience in personnel management, payroll, budgets, capital, business planning, marketing, and physician relations
• Previous management experience in critical care required
• Clinical or leadership experience with the cardiac intensive care population is highly preferred

Licensure

• Current Texas RN license or compact license
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification
• Certification in nursing specialty or leadership preferred

Additional Notes

• Acute care experience in specialty required (If no Bone Marrow Transplant experience, Oncology experience will be considered)
• Strong leadership skills over large FTE
• Strong physician relationship skills

• Number of Beds: 40
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 3 to 1 (can vary between 2:1 and 4:1)

General Comments

• Salary Range: $40.79 - $50.99 per hour (Based on 10 years of experience); $61.19 per hour (Based on 20+ years of experience)
• Sign-on Bonus: Up to $10,000 (usually offers are half those amounts)
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $12,000 (usually offers are half those amounts)
