Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Manager of Retail Pharmacy Services for Outpatient Specialty to lead the day-to-day operations of the outpatient pharmacy and drive continuous service improvements for customers.

This role requires advanced degrees in pharmacy or healthcare administration, licensure as a pharmacist, and at least five years of supervisory experience in a retail pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Admin, or Business Admin required.
• Pharmacy management experience at a supervisory level.
• Minimum five years as a retail pharmacy manager.

Under administrative supervision, the Manager of Retail Pharmacy Services is responsible for the oversight of operation of pharmacy retail services, the day to day operation of the outpatient pharmacy, and continuously improving services to meet customer needs. These responsibilities include management of assigned staff; ensuring the orderly and efficient delivery of services; coordination of information systems; management of equipment and supplies; development and implementation of budgets; oversight of billing, revenues, and expenditures; and compliance with applicable legal and accreditation standards. Works closely with other professional services to implement related retail/outpatient pharmacy services within organization. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
