Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience.
• Minimum 1 year of prior leadership experience (preferred).
• RT, RT PERM, RCP, or RCP PERM License required in state of employment.
• BLS required.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Summary: Provides essential leadership to the department members; coordinates the allocation of staff and other resources; facilitates the ongoing achievement of the department’s mission and goals; promotes the development and improvement of processes directed at delivering high-quality, secure healthcare.

Responsibilities

Education/Skills

Job Requirements:

• See licensure and/or certification requirements
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience

• 3 years minimum clinical experience
• 1 year minimum of prior leadership experience (preferably)

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• RT, RT PERM, RCP, or RCP PERM License in state of employment required
• BLS required
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required

In accordance with the CHRISTUS Health License, Certification and Registration Verification Policy, all Associates are required to obtain the required certifications for their respective positions within the designated time frame.
