Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks a Manager of Rehabilitation within Acute Care to lead PT/OT/SLP teams for the Children’s service line. This role oversees clinical operations, staffing, program development and ensures high-quality patient care across multiple sites.

The person will direct and manage rehabilitation services, drive policy development, and collaborate with leadership on budgeting and performance improvement. A strong clinical background and PA licensure are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology.
  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience in the respective field.
  • Licensed in PA for PT/OT/SLP at hire or eligible to obtain.
  • Strong leadership and operations knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manages clinical operations, business and financial planning, and quality improvement projects.
  • Directs rehab services operations such as staffing, orientation, performance appraisals, and employee development.
  • Develops policies, procedures, service standards, and workflows to ensure consistent practices.
  • Holds staff accountable for meeting policies and standards and coaches performance.
  • Administers interventions aligned with treatment plans and evidence-based practice.
  • Promotes teamwork and engagement to maintain an efficient work environment.
  • Provides ongoing assessment of patient functioning and progress.
  • Develops rehabilitation protocols for the department.

Performs assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions that are consistent with the discipline's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. Coordinates care, oversees staffing, and guides and mentors the rehabilitation team to ensure the plan of care for the patient population is rendered appropriately. Directs and manages patient care. Manages material, financial, and human resources within assigned area.
