Job summary

Jobtailor in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced data analyst to analyze regulatory intelligence data, identify trends and risks, and translate findings into actionable insights for stakeholders.

You will prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and executive-ready presentations, ensure data integrity, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to enable timely decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., data analytics, statistics, business, engineering, life sciences).
• 5+ years of experience performing data analysis and producing reports in a regulated industry; pharmaceutical or medical device experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in using data visualization applications.
• Strong working knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and/or data mining applications.
• Strong PowerPoint skills, including the ability to build clear, executive-ready presentations with effective data storytelling.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data integrity and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with direction, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and executive-ready presentations that effectively communicate regulatory intelligence insights to support decision-making
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and traceability through robust extraction, validation, and reconciliation processes, while maintaining standardized templates, definitions, and methodologies
Partner with the Senior Director and/or Directors to define requirements, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality analyses on time while enabling consistent execution through cross-sector collaboration
