Job summary

Panera LLC is seeking a Manager, Regional Training Partner to lead the execution and quality of certified training environments across the region. You will coach TGMs/TOPs, onboard new staff, and partner with regional leaders to close gaps in training execution. This role requires California-based candidates and extensive travel.

You will validate initiatives, report insights to senior leaders, and help scale learning programs to support best-in-class operations across Panera cafes.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Talent Development or Operations manager at a TGM or multi-unit level.
  • 5 or more years of talent development or training experience, preferably in service or hospitality.

Manager, Regional Training Partner

The Regional Training Partner (RTP) is a subject matter expert in the expectations and measures of success of our certified training environments. The RTP supports one region/RVP. They report to the Sr Manager, Field Training and provide leadership and accountability on the execution of learning processes and programs. They ensure the integrity and quality of certified training environments. They analyze and assess learning execution in their markets, providing coaching and validation of the retail learning journey, influencing a self-sustained culture of learning to enable best-in-class operations. This position will support California, and candidates must be based in California to be considered.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain the integrity and quality of high-performing certified training environments and certified TGMs/TOPs. Prepares TGMs/TOPs to execute with integrity through regular analysis and touchpoints with each TGM/TOP, development calls with all TGMs/TOPs, and in-person onboarding for new TGMs/TOPs with guided support/coaching through first MIT. Maintain the integrity and quality of a high performing, in market, training ecosystem; validate field training infrastructure is in place and is executing roles as designed (TGM/TOP, AGM/Market Lead, Team Lead). Partner with DROs and RVP to address gaps in execution. High impact training environment visit to assess training integrity, quality of environment, and adherence to brand standards. Partner with TOP/DRO to diagnose and prescribe solutions based on operational gaps identified during visit. Evaluate & sign off on new training environments proposed by Director, Retail Operations (DRO) and approved by RVP and recertify/decertify as appropriate. Monitor market and regional training execution; share insights and recommendations with GMs and DROs to bridge gaps. Share feedback and trends with Sr. Manager, Divisional Training Partners for Divisional and Enterprise visibility and analysis. Validate key initiatives training executed as designed. Specific role in key initiative training will vary by initiative.

Working Conditions

75% travel to cafes, including overnight and out-of-state travel if needed to reach locations. Work week may include nights / weekend Must live within the region the role supports.

Competitive Pay

Competitive Pay $86,033 to $104,943 Annually. The actual pay offered will be determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and geographical location. Individual compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
