Job summary

St. Joseph Hospital Eureka in Eureka, California, is seeking a Manager of Radiation Therapy for a Full Time/ Permanent role. The position directs administrative and clinical Radiation Oncology services and serves as liaison among physicians, hospital administration, nursing, and medical staff.

The ideal candidate has ARRT certification, state radiologic credentials, and prior supervisory experience in an acute care setting. Relocation assistance and a 15k extended bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy, medical dosimetry or medical physics program.
• National Certification from ARRT is required upon hire.
• California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification is required upon hire.
• At least 3 years of supervisory/management experience in an acute care setting.
• Preferred: bachelor or master’s in Healthcare Administration.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the administrative and clinical affairs of Radiation Oncology services.
• Serve as liaison between contract physicians, hospital administration, and medical staff.
• Ensure high-quality, clinically competent, customer-oriented service.
• Oversee operations during 8-hour day shifts as a Full Time/ Permanent role.

Education

Graduate of accredited radiation therapy / medical dosimetry / medical physics program

National Certification from ARRT

California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification

Under the general direction of the AD, CCP, the Manager of Radiation Oncology is responsible for the direction and supervision of the administrative and clinical affairs of Radiation Oncology services. Performs these duties and assures the provision of high quality, clinically competent, customer-oriented service. Serves as the liaison between the areas of responsibility, contract physicians, hospital administration, the medical staff at large, nursing and other departments.

This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.
