Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Manager to develop and execute publicity campaigns for Peacock Originals and NBC scripted programming, coordinating talent participation, media outreach, and press events from development through premiere and beyond. You will work with internal teams to ensure campaigns align with broader business goals and deliver strong earned media results.

  • 5+ years of experience in entertainment publicity supporting television, streaming, or film.
  • Experience developing and executing publicity campaigns that generate meaningful earned media results.
  • Established relationships with entertainment and industry media or demonstrated experience cultivating media contacts.
  • Experience writing press materials and managing media outreach for entertainment campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day execution of publicity campaigns for Peacock Originals and NBC scripted programming across the full campaign lifecycle.
  • Support the development of creative media strategies that maximize earned coverage across broadcast, print, digital, social, podcasts, and emerging formats.
  • Help shape campaign timelines, premiere strategies, and key publicity milestones from announcement through launch.
  • Write and distribute publicity materials, including press releases, talent bios, talking points, Episodic materials, media pitches, and executive correspondence.
  • Pitch stories and secure coverage with entertainment, lifestyle, business, and industry media while cultivating strong relationships with journalists and editors.
  • Coordinate with talent representatives, producers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate interviews, appearances, premieres, and promotional opportunities.
  • Partner with Marketing, Creative, Social, Events, Awards, Content, and Production teams to deliver integrated campaigns that amplify overall marketing efforts.
  • Plan and execute press-facing events, including premieres, screenings, junkets, press days, and experiential activations.
  • Manage campaign budgets, invoices, and related administrative processes.
  • Monitor media trends, audience behavior, and the evolving communications landscape to identify new opportunities for earned media.
  • Represent NBCUniversal at industry events while fostering relationships with media, talent representatives, and key external partners.

Job description

The Manager plays an integral role in developing and executing publicity campaigns for Peacock Originals and NBC scripted programming. This position supports the day-to-day execution of communications strategies that generate impactful earned media, spark cultural conversation, increase audience awareness, and elevate the profile of Peacock and NBC content. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, the Manager will support campaigns from early development through premiere and beyond, coordinating talent participation, media engagement, and press events while ensuring each campaign supports broader business and brand objectives. Success in this role requires strong media instincts, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Basic Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in entertainment publicity supporting television, streaming, or film.
  • Experience developing and executing publicity campaigns that generate meaningful earned media results
  • Established relationships with entertainment and industry media or demonstrated experience cultivating media contacts
  • Experience writing press materials and managing media outreach for entertainment campaigns
Desired Characteristics
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Experience supporting FYC awards campaigns is a plus

Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000 (bonus eligible)
