Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking a Project Engineering Manager - MAR for the CP2 facility in Cameron, Louisiana. This role leads MAR engineering alignment, interfaces with EPC and site teams, and ensures readiness for commissioning.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in engineering, PMP or equivalent, and at least 10 years in project engineering/management, with 4+ years LNG experience; strong project management systems expertise is required.

Qualifications

• PMP certification or similar professional accreditation.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in Project Engineering/Management, including at least 4 years in LNG.
• Expert knowledge of project management systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as MAR engineering liaison and coordinate with EPC and site teams.
• Contribute to weekly site engineering reports.
• Owner of MAR RFI process.
• Manage MAR punch-list resolution.
• Review EPC work packs for accuracy and content.
• Review installation, erection, precommissioning plans and manuals.
• Inspect major equipment and participate in walk-downs.
• Maintain scope transfer logs and coordinate EPC/OFE interfaces.

Summary

We are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Project Engineering Manager - MAR. This position is based out of our Calcasieu Pass LNG 2 (CP2) facility located in Cameron, Louisiana.

General Description Duties & Responsibilities

• Primary site interface for all MAR engineering technical alignment
• Provides input to weekly site engineering report
• MAR RFI Owner
• Responsible for MAR punch list resolution
• Validate check sheets and sign A and B ITRs as needed, working with the site coordinators
• Review EPC engineering work packs for accuracy and content
• Review installation / erection / precommissioning plans, documents, and requirements specific to areas. Includes review of installation manuals, communication of specific requirements, sequences, etc to coordinators
• Inspect major arriving equipment and participate on walk downs
• Maintain log of scope transferred to site and participate in interface meetings between EPC and OFE contractors

Qualifications

Required experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Professional accreditation such as a PMP or similar.
• Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in Project Engineering/Management with at least 4 years in the LNG industry.
• Expert Knowledge of project management systems and principles with extensive knowledge of working with Engineering and Management teams to set up tools for operational readiness, performance monitoring and reporting requirements.
