About The Team

We are reimagining the way Capital One evaluates financial health and affordability. As a Product Manager on the Ability to Pay (ATP) and Consumer Financials team, you will define the strategic vision for the capabilities that determine how millions of customers safely access credit. You will leverage real-time cash flow and transactional data to architect the intersection between complex backend financial decisioning and seamless customer experiences.

As the strategic lead for our Affordability ecosystem, you will spearhead the maturation of our cash flow underwriting initiative and assist in critical Discover Financial Services (DFS) workflows. We are looking for a product leader who can navigate the ambiguity of large-scale financial transformations, integrate advanced data sources, and build resilient, scalable solutions that support a diverse portfolio of credit products.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
  • A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), Business or Marketing

OR

• Bachelor's degree in any field and 3 years of Product Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 for Manager, Product Management

New York, NY: $179,700 - $205,100 for Manager, Product Management

Richmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000 for Manager, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
