About the Team

Want to help migrate one of the largest financial ecosystems off the mainframe? Capital One is on a journey to build an in-house, next-generation Card. Within the Data Consumption vertical, our Data Products team is completely rethinking how data is onboarded and utilized at scale. We are looking for a Product Manager who can balance big-picture architecture with immediate execution. While we build toward a robust, self-service future state, your primary mission in the short term will be acting as the strategic bridge for our users and building real time and batch data assets using data product principles. In this role, you will help build strategy for Writes operational readiness which will be broadly applied to all the data products across Card Data.

Basic Qualifications
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:

    • A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), Business or Marketing

OR

  • Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 3 years of Product Management experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 for Manager, Product Management

New York, NY: $179,700 - $205,100 for Manager, Product Management

Richmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000 for Manager, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
