Job summary

Zylidac Bio LLC. is seeking a highly analytical Procurement Analyst to join our Emeryville, CA team. This role reports to the VP Supply Chain & Logistics and offers a competitive salary with a full benefits package.

You will develop global procurement strategies for cancer immunotherapy drug development, lead sourcing of raw materials and services, and work closely with R&D, manufacturing, and finance to forecast needs and manage risks across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global procurement strategies aligned with company objectives in cancer immunotherapy and GMP manufacturing.
• Lead the procurement team in sourcing raw materials, equipment and services; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness; negotiate contracts.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, finance and other G&A functions to forecast needs and ensure seamless supply chain management.
• Implement innovative procurement processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in procurement.
• Prepare and manage procurement budget; report performance metrics and cost-saving initiatives to senior management.
• Ensure robust risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain vulnerabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred but not required.

• Requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience as data analyst in the Procurement/Distribution Pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics and regulatory requirement specific to biotechnology or pharmaceutical.
• Demonstrate ability to lead and develop a team, manage complex projects, and negotiate high-value contracts.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
• Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate changes and challenges in the marketplace and adapt procurement strategies accordingly.
