Overview

Our team of doctors, advanced care providers, nurses, therapists, and researchers provides the region's most advanced medicine at multiple facilities, campuses, clinics, and classrooms. Responsibilities
  • Works closely with the Director; coordinates day-to-day operations of the practice and provides oversight to ensure operational requirements and established standards are being met.
  • Helps design and implement business strategies for Cardiovascular Surgery in the regional market.
  • Works to ensure revenue cycle processes/requirements are met.
  • Oversees supervision of staff to include assigning of duties, training, preparing evaluations, approving time off, and handling disciplinary issues.
  • Monitors scheduling and staffing levels to ensure appropriate coverage, and to ensure day-to-day operations are in accordance with established standards.
  • Monitors patient utilization data, provider schedules, contract requirements, and requests for care, to ensure staffing levels and mix of personnel are appropriate.
  • Interviews, selects, and orients practice staff.
  • Ensures timely submission of timekeeping documents and monitors leave.
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA, HHS, Risk Management, OSHA, CLIA, federal, state and institutional regulations for assigned areas.
  • Coordinates submission of applications with Credentialing Services for new and renewal clinical provider numbers.
  • Assists in managing business operations throughout the practice, to include creation, implementation, and results facilitation of clinic functions to maximize efficiencies and maintain budget controls.
  • Assists with preparation of annual budget and monitoring financial expenditures.
  • Develop, maintain and build relationships with key stakeholders at USA Health and referral network.
  • Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
  • Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
  • Regular and prompt attendance
  • Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
  • Related duties as assigned
Additional Information

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or a health care related field and 4 years of directly related experience, 2 of which were in a supervisory or managerial capacity Required
