Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Minnesota seeks a Maintenance Manager to oversee daily operations of the plant maintenance staff, ensuring tasks follow hospital policies and safe, reliable building and grounds. You will coordinate projects and serve as the point of contact for assigned initiatives.

Candidates should have trade-school graduation or equivalent, 3 years of plant operations and maintenance experience, and preferred credentials such as a B.S./A.A.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited trade school in relevant field or possess equivalent work experience.
• 3 years of experience in plant operations and maintenance.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Engineering License or certification (CHFM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily activities of the plant maintenance staff to ensure work is performed per hospital policies and safety standards.
• Acts as the contact person for specific projects as assigned.
• Ensures a safe and reliable building and grounds environment.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited trade school in relevant field or possess equivalent work experience
• 3 years of experience in plant operations and maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. or Associates degree
• Mechanical or electrical engineering degree or certification
• 5 years of experience in plant operations and maintenance in a healthcare setting
• 1 year of supervisory experience
• Engineering License or certification
• Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM)
