Job description

Job Description:

We are looking for a Media Planning Manager with experience in B2B ideally based in Chicago, Il. The Manager, Media Planning role is a critical role with one direct report, potentially more in time, and you will report into the Director, Planning. You must demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the media space, specifically Digital with some CTV & Print and available media research and systems. You will lead the daily account needs by assuring focus on key client goals, and communicating appropriate resource needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and strategize primarily Digital with some CTV & Print media campaigns
  • Coordinate with multi-channel teams to create strategic and thoughtful integrated media plans across channels.
  • Communicate with clients on questions and specific media plans
  • Evaluate timelines and manage daily deliverables
  • Analyze competitive landscapes, pulling reports using agency tools and compiling insights
  • Manage a large Media Budget and Flowchart
  • Guide media channel selection and identify new opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in media planning with at least 1 year of planning Digital and CTV Media
  • 1+ years of Experience working on a B2B client
  • Experience communicating directly with clients and comfortable performing as the day to day client lead
  • Relevant media planning and buying experience across channels
  • Familiar with Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, and/ or other media tools

DESIRED, NOT REQUIRED:

  • 1+ years managing junior team members
  • Experience in planning Print Media
  • Experience working on an HVAC, Tools, or Automotive client

The annual salary range for this position is 62K- 84K . Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
