Guardian Pharmacy of Dallas Fort-Worth in Arlington, Texas is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge for a salaried, Mon-Fri role. You will oversee operations, lead supervisors, ensure accuracy and excellent customer service, and manage staffing and workflows in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a PharmD or BPharm, Texas license, and 5+ years in a high-volume setting with 2+ years in supervision. Opportunities include growth, benefits, and a team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Pharmacy) or PharmD and unrestricted Texas pharmacist license.
• 5+ years of experience in high-volume pharmacy settings.
• 2+ years in a manager/supervisor role.
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations systems experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Lean Six Sigma skills are a plus.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday (Monday - Friday 9:30am - 6:30pm)
  • Salaried Position. Weekends to be assigned as needed for staffing coverage. Will serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge with the Texas Board of Pharmacy. There will be no requirement for licensure in other states.
• Location: Guardian Pharmacy - 711 Directors Drive, Arlington, TX 76011

As a key member of the local management team, ensure that all functions are performed timely and accurately. Manage departmental leads/supervisors to ensure that key metrics and labor goals are achieved. Collaborate with leadership to develop departmental objectives and goals. Assists in evaluating workflow/technological enhancements to improve efficiency. Assist supervisors in scheduling adequate staff to meet the needs of the business within budgeted guidelines.

Essential job functions (include the following)

• Hire, manage, train, evaluate, coach, and develop Supervisors/Lead Technicians; assign duties and responsibilities
• Assist with hiring and management of staff to ensure adequate coverage for workflow
• Ensure Supervisors/Leads assign work volume appropriate to each technicians’ duties and measure both productivity and accuracy for each technician
• Responsible for ensuring operation of business is conducted efficiently and accurately while maintaining a high level of customer service
• Evaluate workflow processes and implement changes as necessary to meet deadlines for input
• Address and resolve customer issues related to operations and quality
• Work collaboratively with team members in other functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently
• Develop training manuals and programs for department and update as needed
• Manage labor metrics to achieve business plan goals
• Relationship management with relevant key vendors
• Lead by example in all areas of role to support non-negotiable attributes: attitude, dependability, commitment, productivity, efficiency and upholding P & P
• Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed

Education and/or Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Pharmacy) or PharmD.
• State Pharmacist license without restrictions, as applicable

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience, preferably in high-volume pharmacy
• 2+ years’ experience as a manager/supervisor
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
• Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
• Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
• Lean Six Sigma skills and experience preferred
• Ability to analyze workflow and staffing needs and implement improvements
• Ability to manage subordinates’ performance to achieve objectives of department

Work Environment
