CaroMont Health in Gastonia, NC is seeking a pharmacist leader to oversee day-to-day clinical pharmacy services, including supervision, scheduling and staff training. The role focuses on keeping labor costs within budget while supporting formulary management and responding to drug shortages.

The incumbent coordinates with Pharmacy and Therapeutics committees, drives antimicrobial stewardship, residency programs and high-performing clinical services, and acts as a liaison to medical and nursing

Job Summary:

Responsible for day to day clinical pharmacy services including pharmacist supervision, scheduling and staff training. Responsible for keeping labor cost at or below budget. Supports pharmacy team with formulary management and drug shortages. Serves as coordinator and support person for Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Value Analysis Committee and Medication Safety Committee. Has oversight for Pharmacy Residency programs and Antimicrobial Stewardship. Develops, implements, and manages high performing clinical programs and services as it relates to clinical pharmacy, medications safety and formulary management. Serves as an effective pharmacy liaison to the medical and nursing staff.
