Job Description

Responsible for the management of internal and external recruiting efforts for our cosmetics and personal care division to support all sites (currently Dallas and Phoenix and occasionally New Jersey).

  • Manages and oversees the subject recruitment process and a team of recruiting staff at the Dallas, Phoenix and New Jersey sites
  • Provides additional thought leadership in support of our goal to develop recruiting as a true core competency
  • Provides leadership over the efforts to keep panelist recruitment in house and drive cost effective practices for recruitment
  • Partners with operations and scientific teams to understand the needs for selected studies
  • Proactively communicates department insights, strategies and needs to complete clinical studies on time or ahead of schedule
  • Build, manage and analyze recruiting metrics (departmental, study specific and database specific)
  • Regularly articulate metrics and success/areas of challenge to internal and external stakeholders
  • Works with internal and external recruiters to maintain a database of viable study subject candidates (within an internally developed tracking system)
  • Strategically create and implement initiatives to expand the panelist database
  • Leads the effort to determine the appropriate future toolset for tracking study subject candidates
  • Independently handle complex problems and determine solutions with limited resources
  • Resilient and adaptable in a fast paced environment
  • Mentor and coach recruiting team on sales techniques and communication strategies to guide panelists, maintain call control and de-escalate when necessary
Leadership / Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Provides guidance and/or leadership to others, including indirect reports, peers, or managers
  • Manage and mentor a team of up to 10–15 direct reports
Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of five‑years of relevant managerial experience
  • Management of off‑site staff
  • Minimum of two‑years’ experience in sales, communication/telemarketing
  • Clinical research experience preferred
