Participates in the interview and hiring decisions for staff members assigned to the relevant area of supervision. Responsible for identifying measures to maintain or improve employee satisfaction, reward and recognition to promote employee retention. Completes annual and ongoing evaluations of performance of employees in relevant area of supervision. Addresses performance problems proactively, establishes action plans with employee, and follows-up evaluation and documentation completed as scheduled.* Delegates tasks to those under supervision. Establishes plan and expectations for delegated duties and follows-up to ensure they are being completed according to the plan.* Tracks and reports workload statistics and other vital operational data to leadership on an established schedule.* Performs budget management and planning relevant to area of supervision.
