Primary Purpose Of Position
Manager of the Organizational Effectiveness (OR) department – responsible for ensuring programs and processes support exemplary plant performance, leading the development and implementation of solutions to performance gaps, and interfacing with NRC, NSRB, and INPO on corrective action, self‑assessment, benchmarking, safety culture, and human performance.
Primary Duties And Accountabilities
- Support the site Senior Leadership Team in formulating and implementing solutions to performance gaps, including CAP, HU, PI-related actions, and root‑cause analyses.
- Identify individual change agents and empower them to influence culture and improve performance.
- Challenge and provide insight to ensure the performance improvement model is used to prevent, identify, and correct issues at the clean energy center.
- Develop insights and solutions around performance drivers at the CEC.
- Oversee the performance improvement concept, manage periodic document reviews, and guide CEC performance improvement personnel.
- Directly and through the CEC team analyze site performance data and adverse trends using observations, CAP, self‑assessment, benchmarking, OPEX, and performance indicators, and resolve improvement opportunities.
- Perform all other job assignments and duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management, including emergency response duties.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or current/previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 6 years of relevant experience;
- Associate degree with 8 years of relevant experience;
- High school diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience;
- Minimum of 4 years exempt‑level experience and 2 years supervisory or managerial experience;
- Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations.
- Prior nuclear utility leadership, supervisory, or managerial experience with demonstrated understanding of organizational effectiveness concepts.
- Knowledge of INPO Conduct of Performance Improvement, 14‑004.
- Experience using CAP and Observations/Performance Improvement Action Plan applications.
