Job summary

Syncreon in Rialto, CA is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a dynamic logistics site from day one. You will manage daily activities, drive scheduling, and coordinate with customers to maximize on-time delivery and staffing levels.

The role requires strong people leadership, a track record in warehouse/logistics, and willingness to work 2nd shift (2 PM–10:30 PM). A Bachelor's degree is preferred and compensation is market-competitive.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily activities of a logistics operation to maximize scheduling and delivery.
  • Interface with customer to coordinate scheduling and staffing; ensures schedule adherence.
  • Enact contingency plans and escalate issues to management.
  • Review performance against targets and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide leadership to Warehouse Managers and enforce company standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

About the Role

How you will contribute



  • Manage the daily activities of a logistics operation to maximize scheduling and delivery of commodities to the customer.

  • Interface with customer to ensure smooth -coordination of scheduling and maximization of schedule adherence; provides input on local conditions, identifies needs and receives direction on real-time staffing increases or decreases.

  • Enact contingency plans as needed; elevate and direct activities during system problems, disasters, etc.; identify potential problems, troubleshoot, elevate issues to local and senior management, and participate in post-mortem analysis of problems providing input for future process improvements.

  • Review ongoing performance results to targets. Take corrective measures with authorization, elevate as needed

  • Responsible for providing effective leadership to the Warehouse Managers and/or team, enforcing company standards, act as a role model.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Your Key Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.

  • Progressive experience performing professional level operational and plant management duties; preferably in automotive or logistics industry.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write documentsusing original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management and customer.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

  • Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

We offer a market competitive compensation package. Starting salary range based on job level and experience is $90,800-$108,200.
